About LucciMarie
Meet Your Wedding Day Bestie, Nina Marie!
Ever since I was little, I have been in love with love - from romance novels to cheesy love songs and sappy movies, and always watching happy couples as I pass them on the street. So, it's no surprise to anyone that knows me that I became a wedding planner, to celebrate one of the happiest days in people's lives and constantly be around the beauty of love.
My philosophy is to be your best friend along this journey with you - from helping plan every detail to making sure you have the wedding of your wildest dreams! You'll always find me on the day of with a fanny pack on my waist, filled with all the essentials you never knew you needed - that thing is a life saver! Over the last several years, I have had the pleasure of being a part of over 150+ weddings, and I love to educate myself and my couples on the latest wedding trends and how to plan the perfect day (within budget!).
I cannot wait to meet you and start planning your perfect day!

It's a Family Thing...
Ever since I could remember, the phrase, "your grandmother did my wedding!" was one I heard quite often. My grandmother, Sondra (also known as Sonie, pictured here with me), and my grandfather, John, owned Cimino's Catering for over 30 years, where Sonie led the charge as the coordinator and caterer. To this day, her brilliant staff still gets together from time to time to reminisce about the many weddings they worked together. Not only did they own a catering business, but in the 1980s, they opened Cimino's Wedding World, a wedding decor shop! While the presence of my amazing grandmother in my life has driven much of my own love of weddings, it didn't start with her...
My great-grandmother, Stella Lucci, was the first of us to begin the family tradition of working in the wedding industry. Stella (also known as Mimi) spent 25 years working in the bridal department of Hart's Department Store. I've even gotten to hear from a lovely woman recently that they worked with Mimi when they bought their wedding dress at Hart's. It's those memories that we still carry with us, over 50 years later, that make weddings incredibly beautiful in so many ways, more than just on your wedding day.
But of course, it doesn't stop there. My uncle, Carlo, owned La Cuccina Catering for over 10 years, where I got my start as a banquet server for weddings back in high school, and currently, my mom, Angie, is the catering manager for National Public House and manages their wedding business.
LucciMarie Events got its name from all of the above people, who each had a hand in bringing this beautiful dream of mine to life, in some way or another. Each of us women share the middle name, 'Marie', and Lucci is our family name that now lives on in LucciMarie Events.
